Due Diligence

The due diligence stage is one of the most crucial stages of any transaction – which determines the risks involved. KNP regularly performs due diligence on transactions and advises clients on the risks and challenges that may arise. We serve not only as a firm conducting the due diligence but through this gathering of information; our attorneys can advise and provide clients with a roadmap on how best to move forward based on the information discovered during the process.

The risks involved during a transaction often emerge during the due diligence process. Still, for some entities who wish to streamline the process or assess the risks before the contracting phase, we provide pre-deal risk assessments to aid in the process. This approach allows buyers to gather as much information as possible before entering a negotiation phase or without showing their intended target their intent on purchasing or merging.
