Istvan Hadzsi
Dr. István Hadzsi first graduated from the Police College, Criminal Division. He later pursued legal studies at Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and obtained a JD Degree. He acquired his professional knowledge at the regional and local bodies of the Budapest Police Headquarters, of which he was a member for more than 18 years of which he spent 7 years in the position of police commissioner.
During his professional career, he handled and oversaw several high-profile crimes against property, including financial and business fraud matters. Under his leadership several companies were investigated and apprehended for targeting innocent victims with fraudulent lending schemes. In recognition of his outstanding professional work, the Hungarian Law Enforcement Association awarded him with the Dr. János Dobos Bronze Memorial Medal in 2014.
Dr. Hadzsi recently gained experience in the field of banking and financial security at one of the leading Hungarian financial institutions. His work focused on credit fraud and money laundering, financial and banking security special projects, and operational audit of acquisition target companies.
Dr. Hadzsi is a member of the Budapest Bar Association.
