HUNGARIAN PARLIAMENT ADOPTED THE HOME OFFICE ACT

On December 17, 2021, the Hungarian Parliament passed the bill on Home Office regulations without any further amendments, and thereby granted a statutory legal status to the interim regulations adopted during the State of Emergency. The new regulations will enter into force following expiry of the State of Emergency, which is currently set as of June 30, 2022.
