Junior Associate (vCard)

Rebeka completed her general JD (masters) with highest honours (summa cum laude) in 2014 at the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the most prestigious law school in Hungary. She was ranked in the top 10% of my graduating class at ELTE University. She spent an Erasmus semester at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) in France and I attended a dual Master program between ELTE and Paris II for two years. She also received a graduate diploma in international relations from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2012. After obtaining her diploma, she worked as an EU officer at the Ministry of Justice of Hungary where she was in charge of the codification of private law with respect to EU law. Then as a junior associate, first at a French-based international law firm then at KNP Law and Partners, she mainly dealt with civil and commercial law, litigation, arbitration and pharmaceutical law. She then worked for two years at the Cour of Justice of European Union in Luxembourg, where she served as the only Hungarian representative of the research department and she provided legal assistance for the judicial cabinets in the field of Hungarian and EU law in French and English. Besides her work, she pursues her doctoral studies and she is a lecturer at the Department of Civil Procedural Law at ELTE. Rebeka’s primary field of expertise is European Union law, in particular the case law of the courts of Luxembourg and Strasbourg, as well as civil procedural law and arbitration. In addition to her Hungarian mother tongue, she is fluent in English, French and she has intermediate Spanish language skills.
